Foliar biostimulants act directly on the plant’s physiological functions, supporting its development and strengthening its ability to adapt. Applied to the foliage, they provide a precise lever to support crops when their needs cannot be fully met by root nutrition. This approach meets the requirements of sustainable, efficient, and reasoned agriculture.
Small yet essential, stomata are the plant’s “mouths.” These microscopic respiratory organs located on the underside of leaves ensure gas exchange between the plant and its environment. They are the main entry pathway for foliar fertilization.
Three technologies developed by our R&I
Our Research & Innovation department has developed three foliar technologies designed to act at key stages of the plant growth cycle. They allow precise intervention in the plant’s internal processes, targeting mechanisms responsible for growth, stress resistance, and resource optimization.


The role of biostimulants in plant nutrition
Biostimulants are functional fertilizers that do not primarily provide nutrients but enhance their use by the plant. Their goal is to improve:
- nutrient use efficiency,
- tolerance to abiotic stress,
- yield and quality performance,
- and mobilization of nutrients in soil and rhizosphere.
Applied foliarly, their action is fast and directly integrated into plant metabolism.
