Ovinalp High Fertilization operates within a circular economy by using raw materials derived from noble co-products of the agri-food industry (olive pomace, grape marc) and agriculture, intended to return to the soil. The company sources predominantly locally, thanks to the proximity of sheep farms, distilleries, and olive oil mills in the region. Ovinalp High Fertilization is also committed to sustainable production through the performance of its modern plant – dust extraction, solar energy use, and recycled plastics. The company prioritizes bulk deliveries to reduce packaging and has a fleet of vehicles gradually powered by biofuel.

For more than 20 years, OvinAlp has placed Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at the heart of its strategy. Long before these topics became priorities, we chose a production approach respectful of the environment, our employees, and farmers. Our approach is based on simple but strong values: quality, transparency, traceability, sustainability, ethics, and innovation.

Our fertilizers are derived from noble co-products of agriculture and the agri-food sector.

By transforming these co-products into natural fertilizers, OvinAlp actively contributes to soil structure and the return of organic matter to the land. This circular model helps capture carbon in soils and fight climate change (4 per 1000 initiative).

We also participate in collective initiatives such as ADIVALOR, for the collection and recycling of empty packaging from our products.

Our production site embodies our environmental commitment. It is ISO 14001 certified for composting processes and complies with the latest environmental standards. It operates energy-autonomously thanks to 2,500 m² of photovoltaic panels. In a continuous improvement approach, the installed area will soon reach 7,500 m².

We have invested in clean and sustainable technologies: dust-free plant, full automation, cold granulation to preserve the microbiota of our products. Our FSH bagger reduces plastic use by 10 to 20%. Bulk deliveries and vehicles progressively powered by biofuels help reduce our carbon footprint.

At OvinAlp, people are not just a link in the chain—they are the heart of our business. We work with people for people, in a profession based on trust, knowledge transfer, and collective intelligence. That’s why we prioritize safety, quality of work life, and professional development.

Our industrial site is designed to ensure team comfort, dust-free, with ergonomic workstations. We actively recruit locally, support young people in apprenticeships or internships, and offer real career prospects. By retaining talent, we guarantee quality and continuity of our know-how.

Our raw material sourcing is largely local, thanks to our partner sheep farms, distilleries, and olive mills. Similarly, we encourage the local economy by prioritizing regional service providers.

The ISO 14001 certified composting process allows OvinAlp to offer high-quality organic amendments and fertilizers, which help preserve soils and the environment—a fundamental pillar of our sustainable development policy.

But our commitment doesn’t stop there. OvinAlp has developed, within its Research & Innovation department, four exclusive technologies to address the challenges of precise, sustainable, and high-performing agriculture. Not easy to reconcile… yet that is exactly OvinAlp’s strength! Fertilizing better also means feeding better, as it always has.

Biostimulants

Our biostimulant ranges derived from these technologies are designed to significantly enhance crop potential. They act on several levels:

  • mobilizing soil reserves,
  • facilitating mineral assimilation,
  • supporting crops under climate-related stress,
  • preserving soil health and improving yields.
  • Latest innovation: our “Care By Plants” technology, part of an agricultural herbal therapy approach. It relies on the natural properties of plants to stimulate active and passive crop defenses, protecting them without disrupting biological balances. A simple principle, inspired by life: strengthen the plant immune system with natural preparations.

With these innovations, OvinAlp confirms its ambition: putting science at the service of more respectful, autonomous, high-performing, and future-oriented agriculture.

    A sincere and consistent approach

CSR at OvinAlp is not a communication label. It is a daily, real, measurable commitment, carried by all teams. We believe it is possible to produce better while respecting soils, people, animals, and life. We make this choice today to ensure our sustainability tomorrow.

“Engaging in a sustainable approach is securing our future, but also that of farmers, consumers, and the planet.”
